2024 Award Recipients
The Heart of Wisconsin makes an effort each year to recognize the accomplishments of its MEMBERS, to thank them for participating in and supporting the Chamber. Nominations are considered for the following awards each year: Small Business/Entrepreneur of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Innovative Business of the Year, Community Impact of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, Business Professional of the Year, and Member of the Year.
Small Business/Entrepreneur of the Year

This award honors a business that has demonstrated exceptional economic growth, a strong commitment to community service and leadership, and a spirit of innovation while operating with 10 or fewer employees.
Large Business of the Year
Paper City Savings Bank
This award honors a business that exemplifies exceptional customer service, strong community leadership, and a commitment to innovation and growth, while employing more than 10 individuals.
Innovative Business of the Year

This award recognizes a business that promotes a culture of innovation through research and development, new processes, cutting-edge products or services and the ability to adapt to an ever-evolving marketplace
Community Impact of the Year
United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties
This is presented to a service organization or public institution that provides dedication to community service and leadership and develops innovative programs to serve the community over time.
Ambassador of the Year
Julie Siegler
The recipient of the award is honored for going above and beyond as an Ambassador, and for attendance at events and meetings. The Ambassador must have been an active ambassador for more than one year.
Business Professional of the Year
Dan McCarville
Recognizes someone who shows community service and leadership while demonstrating outstanding volunteer spirits and makes a significant impact in the community.
Member of the Year
Mid-State Technical College
Recognizes a Chamber Member business that is actively involved in the Chamber through various avenues such as events, programs, volunteer efforts, sponsorship opportunities, or other support areas. The business actively advocates and promotes the Chamber within the local community.
