The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce would love to help host a ribbon cutting to promote and celebrate your company. On the day of your ceremony, we will bring the big scissors and ribbon, and we will help spread the word to our Members and invite them to join us for your big day.

Ribbon Cutting Guidelines
The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce is always excited to help celebrate your business. Ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings are important business events, and it is important to us that we help our Members promote and celebrate these events. Ribbon cuttings are supported at no cost to our Members for the following events:
- Grand opening (or re-opening) of a business
- Celebration of a milestone anniversary
- Celebration of a groundbreaking
- Celebration of a relocation or major expansion/renovation
- Celebration of new ownership
Additional information:
- Ribbon cuttings are subject to availability.
- Requests for the Chamber to host a ribbon cutting needs to be made at least 3-4 weeks prior to your event.
- The Chamber will invite its Board of Directors, Staff, Ambassadors, and local elected officials.
- We will also create a Facebook event for your ribbon cutting and share pictures to the Heart of Wisconsin Facebook page afterwards (if it is open to the public).
- A Chamber staff person or Board Member will be available to give opening remarks (if agreed upon prior to the event).
- Someone from your business will have an opportunity to speak.
- The group will pose for the camera, and pictures will be taken while the ribbon is cut.
Additional Suggestions:
- Invite your own clients, customers, family and friends.
- Time appropriate refreshments are appreciated, but not required.
- Have plenty of brochures, business cards, or promotional items available for your guests.
- Have a drawing or giveaway. Winning a sample of your product or a gift certificate is great exposure for your business.
The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce's Member Referral Program helps our organization grow, which in turn, contributes to the vitality of our business community. A larger membership base strengthens the Chamber's voice advocating on issues of importance, enhances services for our Members, and provides more business connections.
How Does it Work?
- Identify a business, vendor, or acquaintance who could benefit from Chamber membership.
- Submit your referrals using the form provided.
- A Chamber representative will contact the referred business.
- If your referral joins the Chamber within 60 days of receiving the referral form, and pays for one full year of membership dues, you will receive an entry in our quarterly drawing on the 1st Monday of January, April, July, and October for a $100 Chamber Gift Certificate.

The Heart of Wisconsin Boardroom graciously extends its availability to Chamber Members at no extra cost. However, please note that rental dates and times are subject to availability. For detailed information, kindly refer to the document provided below.

A Certificate of Origin (CO) is an important international trade document that certifies that goods in a particular export shipment are wholly obtained, produced, manufactured, or processed in a particular country. They declare the ‘nationalist’ of the product and serve as a declaration by the exporter to satisfy customs or trade requirements. The Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce can stamp a Certificate of Origin (CO) on your document for you.
